The GRYD Foundation mission is to create a safer, healthier, Los Angeles with a focus on communities that are heavily impacted by gang violence and that often lack resources due to economic, racial, and neighborhood boundaries. We believe every youth, regardless of race, gender or geography, should have the resources, opportunities, and systems to grow up to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
The GRYD Foundation Board of Directors ensures that we have systems and policies in place that support and advance our mission of creating a safer, healthier Los Angeles, while complying with the regulations applicable to 501c3 tax-exempt organizations. With this in mind, we are striving to build a Board that reflects the diversity and cross-sectional talents of the City of Los Angeles.
We recognize the commitment of our supporters to this important and life changing work by displaying donor banners at Summer Night Lights sites, by mention in our e-newsletter, and/or via social media. We also recognize this investment in communities by highlighting on this website the logos of supporting foundations and companies.
